Film Commission Poland is charged with coordinating efforts
to promote Polish film industry and shooting locations.
From the 18th to the 20th of June, FCP participated in the Shanghai International Film Festival. We took part in presentations and discussion panels, and in the joint stand of the European film commissions.
WKFF is Poland’s first international pitching forum for films and television projects aimed at a young audience. The deadline for submitting films is June 30. FCP supports the project.
Four Polish cities, several dozen dancers, the greatest stars of South Indian cinema, spectacular stunts, and over 3,000 extras. "Vijay 61", an Indian action film, was partly shot in Poland.
German production company Filmgalerie 451 produces in co-operation with Opus Film and Tempus Film from Łódź a historical feature film called "The Captain" ("Der Hauptmann"). The film is directed by Robert Schwentke.
