A new issue of Polish Film Magazine, an FCP publication focused on presenting the Polish audiovisual industry to foreign filmmakers, has been released specially for the Cannes Festival and Marche du Film. The current issue is dedicated to the Polish participation in Cannes. The magazine features articles on Polish films and co-productions which are part of the festival programme, among others Frost, The Best Fireworks Ever, Time To Go, and Scaffolding. PFM also presents profiles of Maria Blicharska, Monika Lenczewska and Jan Naszewski - Polish professionals who have become successful at the international film market. Roman Polański, whose Based on a True Story will be screened in Cannes, gave a special interview. The magazine will be available at Marché du Film, at Polish Cinema Stand and online HERE.
Especially for the market and the festival, Film Commission Poland has also prepared new editions of well-known publications. Production Guide Poland is a condensed guide to the Polish film industry, explaining the rules and regulations of film funding in Poland and presenting our resources (e.g. film studios and film stages) and the participants of the market (producers, distributors, broadcasters, industry companies). Location Guide Poland includes a thematic review of Polish locations, highlighting their diversity. Both publications are available in print and digitally HERE.
For those in search of locations, we also recommend Poland Lookbook. Published in spring, it is a new collection of Polish locations organized according to thematic categories and their potential use.
Additionally, we encourage you to have a look at a special catalogue with profiles of film producers from Łódź, prepared by Łódź Film Commission.
