Sample prices

Poland is a relatively inexpensive country – food, public transportation, admission tickets, even accommodation are considerably cheaper than in Western European countries. Of course, the highest prices are to be found in major cities. Prices in rural areas are much lower. It is safe to assume some average prices for Poland:

food

  • a meal at inexpensive restaurant / fast food / pizza - about 5-6 EUR
  • a three-course middle-class restaurant dinner - about 15-20 EUR
  • a bottle of water (0.5 l) - 0,5 EUR 
  • a beer in a pub (0,5l) - 2 EUR

transport

  • a domestic flight ticket - from 6 EUR (low cost airlines), from 60 EUR (national airlines)
  • a cross-country train ticket – about 35 EUR
